Will the World Series Break a $107.8MM Record Revenue?

You’ve heard us talk about Shohei Ohtani’s $700 million contract with the Dodgers, a deal that's already generating massive revenue for the team through advertising opportunities.

Now, the two highest revenue-generating teams in Major League Baseball, the Yankees and the Dodgers, are set to face off in the 2024 World Series. With Judge and Ohtani leading their teams, both franchises will walk away with some nicely lined pockets.

In 2023, the World Series set a new record revenue, with $107.8 million generated, and the Texas Rangers taking home $38.8 million of that pot.

With the Yankees and Dodgers competing this year, the question is: will 2025 break that record?
