According to a Fan Who will Never Be a General Manager

Introducing our Braves 2025 Starting Lineup
(according to a fan who will never be a general manager)
The offseason is prime time for "10th-inning managers" to emerge and start crafting trade proposals, crunching salaries, and making a mental hit list of players they can’t stand.
That’s not what we do at Dugout Seat.
Here, we're optimistic—the kind where we toss around wild, maybe improbable ideas. Because hey, every fan needs to dream, right?
Here’s our pick for the 2025 starting lineup 😉 (feel free to give us your take):
Bryce Harper

He's the ultimate "love to hate" player—unless he's wearing your team’s jersey. Let’s get him out of the Phillies' clubhouse and into ours. The guy is a menace against the Braves, averaging nearly a hit per game, and 25% of those are homers. Picture Harper at Truist Park, launching bombs into the short porch in right field. Plus, why stress him with first base? Let him settle into a cushy DH role.
Fernando Tatis Jr.

Honestly, we’re just tired of watching him smash balls against everyone except us. He’s got swagger, and with guys like Acuña and Albies, he’d fit right in. You don’t need more reasons—you know why.
Chipper Jones
