Travis d’Arnaud Leaves Atlanta Braves to Sign $12 Million Deal with the Los Angeles Angels

Travis d’Arnaud has officially signed a two-year, $12 million contract with the Los Angeles Angels, marking the end of his five-year run with the Braves.

Since joining Atlanta in 2020, d’Arnaud quickly became a fan favorite and a vital part of the team. His leadership, both on and off the field, was instrumental as the Braves clinched their first World Series title of the millennium.

His performance throughout the seasons and his experience proved invaluable in high-pressure situations, including the postseason.

Fans I’ve spoken to are mostly neutral about the move. Most suspect that he’ll come back as a coach or retire with the Braves.
