In the Push to the Playoffs
Braves Playoff predictions, Hurricane Updates, and Game Highlights

So You’re Telling Me There’s a Chance
Tuesday night, the Braves finally played like the playoff-caliber team we’ve expected. The timing quite literally could not be better to get hot.
With lockdown pitching, a perfect blend of small ball and long balls, and a crowd nearly filling Truist Park, the energy was electric from the first at-bat. Michael Harris set the tone early, battling Severino for the first of his three hits, sparking a relentless offensive push that kept the Mets and their fans on edge.
If we can maintain this momentum, keep stacking up the wins, and continue putting pressure on the Mets, we’ll have them sweating through every pitch. This is the team we knew we could be—now it’s time to finish strong and ride this wave into the postseason.
Playoff Pictures and Game Ties
MLB no longer plays a tiebreaker game. Game 163 is not an option. Instead, there is a tiebreaker formula that determines who gets in.
Mets: Whoever wins this series will win the tiebreaker. With a sweep, we cancel out the intradivision tiebreaker.
DBacks: Advantage Atlanta who took 5/7 against Arizona this season
If we sneak in as the 6 seed, we will face the Brewers in the first round. If we jump both DBacks and Mets, we will play the Padres.
We Could be “Storming” into the Playoffs…
We’re now one game behind the Mets in the NL playoff race with 5 games left and half a game behind the Dbacks who got shelled last night 11-0 in San Francisco.
Heavy rains are coming the rest of the week making getting these final games unpredictable. If cancellations occur, I've read that makeup games will be played next Monday after the regular season wraps up.
Maybe we should call this storm Michael Harris the way it’s wreaking havoc. 🤷
Checked in with the Braves, as tropical weather is forecasted for Georgia.
Team says MLB monitoring weather, but at this point, nothing to share on potential makeups if today and/or tomorrow's games vs Mets affected.
